Crash Replacement Policy
If your AeroHead wheels are damaged as a result of a crash, we offer a Crash Replacement Discount of 30% to help get you back on the road. This discount is applicable for the lifetime of the wheelset to the original owner.
Getting Your Crashed Product Replaced
To check if your AeroHead Wheels product is eligible for crash replacement, please contact us via email and include the following information:
• Picture(s) of the damaged product
• AeroHead Wheels serial number
• Proof of purchase
• Date of purchase
• Your contact details
• Your shipping address
Once your crash replacement request is approved, we will ship you your new replacement set of wheels. Simply place your damaged wheels in the box and return them to us.
Warranty
AeroHead Wheels offers a limited 2-year warranty on products purchased through the AeroHead Wheels website.
WARRANTY COVERAGE
AeroHead Wheels warrants all new products to be free from manufacturing or material defects for two years from the date of purchase by the original consumer. This warranty is non-transferable. The warranty period will not be extended, renewed, or otherwise affected by the subsequent resale, repair, or replacement of the product. Products or parts replaced under warranty will be covered for a new 2-year warranty period.
CONDITIONS & LIMITATIONS
The warranty does not cover:
- Wear and tear parts: rim tape, free hub, pawls, springs, bearings, and decoration/stickers.
- Damages caused by the mounting and assembly of inappropriate parts or by improper mounting/assembly.
- Defects or damage caused by improper use or poor maintenance.
- Damages due to modifications of the product.
- Any impact damage caused by sharp items, torsion, compression, falls, abnormal impacts, or other actions beyond AeroHead Wheels’ reasonable control.
The warranty is void if:
- The product has been modified or repaired by anyone other than an AeroHead Wheels representative.
- The product has been repaired with unauthorized spare parts.
- The product serial number has been removed, deleted, altered, or rendered illegible.
- The product is a sponsored item.
WARRANTY ENFORCEMENT
AeroHead Wheels will repair or replace the product at no charge. To make a warranty claim, please submit the product along with proof of purchase (invoice) to AeroHead Wheels support via email. AeroHead Wheels will inspect all products subject to warranty claims. For quick and effective service, please remove all accessory items (tires, tubes, rim tape, cassettes, skewers, computer magnets, etc.) before returning the product. AeroHead Wheels is not responsible for lost or damaged accessories and may charge for their removal. The consumer is responsible for the cost of shipping to AeroHead Wheels and any associated transport insurance.
WARRANTY
To the maximum extent allowed by local law, except for the obligations specifically set forth in this warranty statement, AeroHead Wheels shall not be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of anticipated benefits, loss of use, loss of revenue, cost of substitute equipment or facilities, claims of third parties, or damage to property resulting from the purchase or use of the product. This includes breaches of warranty, contract, negligence, strict tort, or any legal or equitable theory, even if AeroHead Wheels knew of the likelihood of such damages. AeroHead Wheels shall not be liable for any delay in warranty service.
